Description

Small and cosy campsite. It was rebuilt in 2007 and still looks newish. Simple but clean ablution block which is solar powered.
There is a new build pool at the restaurant which is about 400m away. Good meals for fair prices available.
The surface is not even, so you have to look a bit for a proper spot if you sleep in your car.

Camp costs 10 USD pp/night. Reserve fee 20 USD pp/day. If you stay one night, then you have to pay the reserve fee only for one day and you are allowed drive around the for two days.

It's a very quiet Park and nearly no visitors. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. If you're lucky, you can see the big five. Mind, there are no giraffes, wild dogs or cheetahs.

We really loved it and would recommend it.

Nice and well maintained campsite. Bit pricey ($10) but the facilities are quite good. Clean ablutions but some lights were broken when I was there. Solar hot water. Tap for washing clothes and stuff. Sheltered braai, small bar. Lots of space for cars, even big rigs. Had no problem finding level spot. Attendant was friendly. No other campers when I was there. You pay at the park gate when leaving but you get a receipt from the attendant on the morning that you leave.

Okay campsite inside the national park. Only a few flat pitches if you sleep in your car. Not that much shade. A bit overpriced compared to other campsites. Clean ablution block.
