Primitive site off of American Drive with a beautiful overlook of the Harbour. Recommended by a local working at the Viking Site L’anse aux Meadows. The road in here has some deep potholes and recommend a 4WD vehicle and a small trailer at most. Can be sketchy if you have any lightning at this higher altitude though. But the view of the Harbour with icebergs flowing through is phenomenal. There’s also 4 bars of 4g which definitely helps for mapping your next adventure!

Really nice place, great view, road was totally fine in my Dodge Caravan FWD, there was quite some wind, but nothing dangerous. Spot seems popular, multiple cars tried to get here as well, so get here early!

Report Check-InAs described, nice spot out of the way spot that feels Lahore remote but is very close to town. Lovely view. Just wanted to add that the road is fine right now. Potholes and some sharp-ish gravel but no problem in my Rav with 7.5” clearance and zero need to engage 4wd. Pretty sure it would have been fine in my Kia Rondo which is only 6” and FWD. Some flies at dusk but disappeared when the sun went down. Thanks!

Woke up in the morning, bay was beautiful and whales in it too! Have to have keen eyes as it’s quite far.
