Was low on gas so didn’t make it as far as the others. At the top of the drive, this is a totally exposed flat area with 360• views. I will surely find out about the wind situation later but it’s calm now. There is only a little bit of activity for a holiday weekend. I want to vouch for the decent road!

A few washboards on road, but not bad at all. Stayed about 3 miles up the road, and had 3 bars of Verizon (usually...it fluctuated). Great area.
Report Check-InGreat spot! A lot of pull offs off the road. The road is gravel and extremely wash-board, be careful not to rattle yourself off the edge. There are loose cattle around, but we didn’t bother each other. The road goes up and over the mountain, but the person who pinpointed this location marked the spot at the top. My spot was almost at the top, pull off to the right and it was great. There was a little traffic on the road as I believe there is a logging company at the very end of the road. I did notice bear scat (Google confirmed) around my tent in the morning, it wasn’t there the night before. Make sure to follow all bear precautions as well as for mountain lions as others have seen those too. I had 1-2 bars of ATT service. Most rigs would fit I think, the corners on the road or a little tight to get up there though.
Report Check-InWhat a great spot. Was easily able to get a 25ft class c up the roads. Saw a large bear and mountain lion scat just a few hundred yards from camp. Wind was not too bad at all.
