Big parking along a quiet road. Very large and flat !
No noise, perfect.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We did not stay here, there are houses right next to the spot. Really weird to sleep in rural areas when you're visible from peoples backyards. I wouldn't like it if I lived nearby.
Report Check-InStayed for a night, road noise was pretty bad during the day but died down significantly after dark and into the morning. If you're coming to this spot I'd recommend coming down from Granite Falls on Menzel Lake Rd rather than driving north from Monroe, cause these backroads are filled to the brim with small, tight turns and nowhere to turn around. A large rig could fit in this pulloff easily if you could get it down here.
Report Check-Instayed here on a Friday night, cars drove by all night and atvs can be heard for most of it, not quiet at least on a weekend, might be better on a weekday
Report Check-InLike described, useful for 1 night but loud from cars in a morning starting at 6am.
Report Check-InNot scenic but very functional. Some trail traffic and target practicing in distance.
Report Check-InBig parking along a quite road.
Very large and flat !
