There's an informal loop road here off FS2841A with several good spots. some of the road is deeply rutted but several spots are reachable with a regular car; all are reachable with a higher clearance vehicle. Not sure if you'd want to take a long rig down it.
No amenities but I had 2-3 bars of cell service in the spot marked, less at the entrance off the FS road.
Marked no campfires, shows up as national forest land on my maps. signs of a campfire ring at one spot.
I saw no trash walking the whole loop, but there does appear to be signs of an abandoned water collection setup, old and rusty, off the loop a little ways.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Really quiet place. Once you get to the loop you should take the middle way (there are 3).
Report Check-InCamped at the the highest spot on the loop just over the top of the ridge. Encountered another iOverlander who camped at the entrance of the loop. We felt alone other than that and it was just the way we like it!
