Description

To see the falls from this side, enter the park here and go into the parking lot. You'll get a time slip when you enter.

Hours are 9am to 5pm

Walk to the ticket booths. There are automatic kiosks, and also staffed windows.

Ticket for foreigners is R$100, including an optional R$3 donation.

Parking costs R$55 for all vehicles, including motos. You have to pay that before you leave at a separate kiosk.

When you buy your ticket, you choose an entry time. At the appropriate time, you'll get in line to board a bus for a 20-minute ride to the falls.

There is a trail which offers numerous views of the falls. At several spots drinks and snacks are available.

At the end of the trail, there is a restaurant, bathrooms, gift shop. From here you take a bus to return to the parking area. Don't forget to pay for your parking before you leave.

Latest Check-Ins

I would recommend booking a ticket online in advance: we got one for the first entry of the day (at 9.10) and were able to walk past the long line for the ticket machines.

Busy place today, a Tuesday. I arrived at around 9:30am, the first available entry was at 11:30am. The trail around the falls was packed.

I guess it's busy season. No way to avoid the crowds.

Very different from the Argentinian side. There's really only 1 walkway at stop 2 on the bus but you get a great panoramic view of the falls. We also saw a toucan in the trees as we passed by in the bus. Try to avoid weekends, we went on a Thursday and it was not crowded. Pricing unchanged from previous entry.

Entrance fee is BRL 83,00 plus (if you want and do not deactivate it) BRL 3,00 for a fund.
Parking for all vehicles is BRL 50,00 - but if you stay at the Iguassu Eco Hostel Camping you can walk.
There are self service ticket machines where you can pay with card.
We did not do it, but the boot tour was offered for US$ 75 (on the argentinian side Arg$ 22.000).

really nice experience. the Brazilian side is the only side you will get rainbows. best to come early right when the sun comes over the rim for some stunning views. if it's sunny and nice, this is the better side. the Brazilians are much more polite and less pushy, plus it's 8usd cheaper than the Argentina side.

We enjoyed the Argentina side much more. If you only chose one, go to Argentina...so much more to see and experience. Especially given the prices...

Note: You cannot buy a ticket here the day before for a discount. Total waste of our time driving here the day before. Maybe there is somewhere else you can purchase tickets at a discount??
