Dispersed camping in the Caribou National Forest. The entrance sign is on Google maps. About 2.5 miles from Devil's Creek Reservoir or a ten minute drive. The road in is pretty smooth and there are about a half dozen decent spots within the first few miles. Next to a small creek bed (dry in September)

Lovely and quiet, but there are some cows roaming around! 4WD not absolutely necessary, but would be nice to have.
Report Check-InJust stay on the main road past the houses and you’ll enter national forest. Wonderful quiet place the spend the night when driving north on I90. I’ll definitely be sleeping here in the van again.
Report Check-InDon’t follow the Google map directions - goes to a private residence. There’s an alternative rate that has a hair pin turn on a gravel road.
If you drive down about 100 yards farther than the pin drop you’ll come to a grassy area that’s perfect for a Promaster.
Lots of nature sounds at dark - very peaceful
Report Check-InNobody here but a dozen plump turkeys when I rolled in. Creek flowing, no mosquitos. Easy access in any car. 4g data service with Verizon. Went up the road a bit, more spots but only 3g cell service. Nice little overnight spot!
