Free camping on lake. About 10 pullouts with picnic tables. No fire pits. Some people driving by, friendly. Pit toilets about 1 mile from here. Tried to fish didn’t catch anything. Stayed just for a night. 1 bar LTE ATT.

Looks abandoned. Campsites completely overgrown and shit paper everywhere. Peaceful and quiet. still made camp here on my hike across America.
Report Check-InWhat a treasure for my doggo and I to find. Modern cement picnic tables, some sheltered, primitive toilets, and a dock. No fire pits.
Report Check-InGRATIS!
Report Check-Inperfect spot to camp for a few nights. wide open, so no privacy between sites. most sites are not flat
Report Check-InChill spot, didn’t see anyone. Park department drove through in the morning but just waved. Signs posted but none that say no camping. Lake nearby, lots of sounds of birds and cattle. Had a crazy windstorm but other than that a nice highway stop.
Report Check-InAs described, wonderful and secluded. There is a dumpster if you want to pitch in to clean up anything.
Report Check-InGreat spot that is mostly quiet! Multiple spots to choose from although some of them are pretty overgrown. The water is definitely not clean enough to swim in. Verizon reception ok but not good enough to work.
Report Check-InGood place to spend the night. A bit trashy though and unkempt. Pit toilets were nasty, but they are there if you're in a pinch. Lots of free sites with picnic tables. Some winding trails for a short walk too.
Report Check-Inas described above. great place, easy accessible, at&t service! but depending on the wind, ammonia smell from the feed yards. and there is trash all over the lake, bottles, cans, toilet paper, Styrofoam boxes. i don't understand people that do this. if you want to be in these beautiful natural places, for free, respect them or please STAY HOME!
Report Check-InExactly as described. No trash receptacles. No toilets. Some bugs. Very peaceful, except for a couple of gunshots doing the night. Rural ranch land. Pretty cool after 100° during the day. Will stay here again. Totally legit free camping.
Report Check-InWorked well for our purposes: quiet, private, and relatively shady, which meant we could sleep with windows open and fans on (No A/C and it has been very hot lately). We stayed on a sort of loop slightly south of the one with picnic tables and parking areas, because it had more trees. It wasn’t fully flat but we used some blocks and got close enough. There is a 3mi trail around the lake for morning exercise. Easy to access off HWY-56, although not well signed. We found best access was via a dirt road, 116 RD. 1-2bars VZN LTE.
Report Check-InGreat free camping spot with picnic tables and fire rings. The loop has several spots. Beautiful sunset. we were the only ones here on a hot friday night. About 4mb down and .5mb up with att 4g. No hookups or water that we could see.
