Description

We slept here for one night, there was also another van when we arrived. Beautiful views of Mount Rainier. A lot of space to park. No "no overnight" signs.

Pretty cool spot to sleep for the night. A truck pulled up next to me and slept in the truck bed as well so I didn’t feel alone.

I did get a knock by a random person asking if I saw anything strange in the parking lot while I was there. He said he was an off duty cop but his demeanor said otherwise.

Report Check-In

The road is closed so i can’t get to this place.

Report Check-In

No issues in a 35ft skoolie. We did get yapped at by a local overnighter who was in his car, but he was simply rude but harmless.

A lot of cell signal for AT&T

easy quick spot for the night. we were with 5 other vehicles.

Report Check-In

It’s fine for sleeping. One other van and a couple of car sleepers, local homeless maybe but no problematic behavior.

Beautiful pull off. Reasonably quiet, no issues and was left alone!

Beautiful Alpine Glow! Decent size parking area. Yep, road noise but a welcome rest stop for the night. Keep it nice, y’all. There’s not many places to camp free in these parts. Let’s keep it available!

Report Check-In

Great place for a last-minute overnight, great Verizon service for working (2bars 5G) during the day, and nobody bothered us. Stayed pretty stealthy.

Report Check-In

Decent spot for the night. Large parking lot close to the road. Bathroom in the. Gas station 1 min drive away. Great view of Mt. Not perfectly level but good enough to sleep. Road noise is there, but not annoying. Decent cell reception.

it was too cloudy to view mount rainier from here today, so it wasn’t very scenic. we pulled in late afternoon with no one else here. the place doesn’t feel sketchy, but there were some interesting characters that came through: car with two teenagers making out in it literally 2 feet from our van and truck missing the entire hood of his vehicle parked by the road. fine for an overnight, but nothing to rave about. decent at&t and verizon.

Easy enough to spot. One other car here but easy enough to give some space. good spot for a night, road noise is definitely loud and consistent even late

Splendid view, safe, traffic noise dies down at night, but awoken by sounds of coyotes. Met some fun fellow travelers who also found the spot on this app! Verizon 5G 2 bars

Beautiful spot .. a bit noisy but hope that will improve overnight. Sheriff pulled in near us but kept to themself until a speeder passed. Good view of Mt Rainier.

Report Check-In

great place to stay the night, no "no overnight" or "no camping" signs. You can definitely hear the car from the adjacent highway, but that didn't bother me. Felt very safe, and there's a gas station with bathrooms 1 minute drive/5 minu

Only person there, was good for the night and rainier in the morning was breathtaking

Nice spot. We got here in the dark and it was almost impossible to see the turnoff for it so try and get here with some daylight. There were two other campers with us.

perfect spot for a night. we were 2 VR and 1 car

Good spot. Pulled in on a Wednesday night around 10:30 and it was empty. Woke up and it was empty at 6:30. There was a lot of trash scattered about and some road noise but I felt safe.

as described, a popular scenic pull out gravel lot off the highway. few others after sunset, and no “no camping” signs. lots of road noise but quieted down some after 10. great view of mountain!

Report Check-In

Decent sized lot probably better sized for vans and smaller campers. We stayed overnight but doesn't seem like a place to stay for any more than that in a truck and 30ft long camper. It's a fairly popular spot for people to pull in and take pictures, no big deal unless you are parked in said camper blocking most of the spots lol
