The paved road in is slow and long. There are pull offs others mention as camp but I was not willing to stay. It is just pulling to the side of the busy road. Along the way you'll see a couple dirt forest roads. Better off to check them out. Not as busy and some seclusion. The spot I'm in has a steep approach, not sure if 2WD or low clearance make it. Use your judgment. The views from here are fantastic! There are a few other spots further up the road. Verizon 5G. Someone unloaded their unwanted building materials here, sad. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean

We braved our way up the dirt road in our van. Traction is fine so no need for 4WD. Went past the google maps pin and just parked in a flat area where there was a road closure. Nice and quiet. Seems like the forest road goes on for a while.
Report Check-InWas so beautiful I returned after my meetings in Boise. Love this spot but it's hot in the sun. No shade
