Report Check-InNice and quiet spot. Wonderful scenery. Pit toilet was dirty with almost no paper, so be prepared.
Report Check-InThe buildings at the Sandy Point Lighthouse are also Community Center for Sandy Point. There is a public community parking lot (packed gravel) beside it that has no signs posted and has some lighting onto the parking lot. There is a pit toilet. People come to watch the sunset until about 9 pm and then it is very quiet for the night. The only sounds are gentle waves on the bay; seagulls and a fox. None of the locals appear to have a problem with RV overnight parking if you are gone early the next morning.
