Owens River Road is a suggested dispersed area per the Inyo NF website. It seems to be extremely popular. All spots are down side roads, I could see many campers from the paved Owens River road and this was the first open spot I found, about 1.6 miles from the highway. It was easy to reach in my FWD van & it's a large spot. Might not be good for large rigs due to a tight turn getting to this spot. Completely surrounded by trees. Good TMobile & Verizon service.
