Location by the lake a little high without amenities Space for 2 vans with a passable dimension by a 2x2 van. Beautiful lake view and perfect little beach. No bar or restaurant nearby. Very quiet Free

Stayed here last night. A couple of local families were swimming. After darkness, they left. It was nice and quiet.
At night, around 9-10, a couple of vehicles drove by. I wish I could stay more in Nica, I would have spent a few more days here. if you have kayak, you can walk 50' to lake bed.
We spent 2 nights here, very beautiful view on the lake. Safe and quiet. 3G (Claro) ok ! The water is clear, so nice to swim here !
Report Check-InPerfect for bike tourers. If you go down to the water and turn right, walk along for about 50m, you’ll come to a little flat clearing. Someone has stuck some sticks in the ground but no roof. Anyway it’s perfect, quiet, no one disturbed us all night. Stunning sunrise. One of our best camps. Gets a little windy at night, make sure you secure any laundry!
Report Check-InNice place but we didn‘t stay! Not one halfway leveled spot. On our way there we met more Overlanders which also didn’t stay there. Be careful if you go down the last 300 meters, it’s really hard to turn there. Better walk down to check it out!

You can have shade under the tree during the day which is nice.
Careful though not to let anything out at night cause our camping table got stolen.
Andres, the guard of the house above fish and can sell you some if you see him. Very nice guy!
Tigo good cell service. Road ok for 2x2 but not big rigs
One of THE spot on ioverlander. we've spend here 4 quiet nights. The water is super clean you can easily swim in it. you have some families in the day and fishermans at night, they stay until around 2am in the morning. The first night we just had the problem that they kept the motor on to power lights on the lake. after 6h it smelled pollution like in the middle of a traffic jam. you'll find at least 2 dogs sometime more. they are super nice and pretty quiet. if you pet them and give them some food they will also make the security for your car. take care of them they're so cute.
