A paved, official pull off 3.5 miles before the Eagle River Nature Center right along the river. There are blue "P" parking signs to guide you there! Residential traffic dies at night so was quiet. Camping at the nature center is not permitted. But the staff person said people regularly camp in this and other pullouts on this road.

Solid spot no one here in early September. Right on the river. Perfect for those who want to get out of Anchorage for a night.
Report Check-InOf all the pullouts we saw along this road this was by far the best. Exposed to the highway but no traffic overnight. It started up with a few cars at 6am but nothing problematic.
Report Check-InBeautiful kayak launch area near a glacial river. Not much traffic at night. Lots of moose activity. A gorgeous spot near eagle river surrounded by mountains. Loved this spot. There is a pit toilet at the nature center and at the Eagle River North Fork Recreation area. Neither are that far away.
