This is a public area, with a small pull off on the side of the road for parking (2 or 3 cars would fit). trees for hammocks, bbq pits and a couple benches. i dont see any reason as to why you couldnt wild camp here but we just hung around for the afternoon. it is opposite posada del cerro

it's not the prettiest place but all the others are full. The street is very dusty. Many Trucks crossing. Water is wonderful but very warm. We're trying to stay here.
Report Check-InJuste Wouhahou!!!
A good place, we spent one night here. It's no problem to put out chairs and tables. Locals also come here to be by the lake. There are also rubbish bins here. During the day there is traffic on the road, at night it is quiet. We felt very safe and comfortable.
Report Check-Inno wifi, maybe you can get it from nearby hotels but there is very good cell service (claro)
