Description
Stayed in the parking lot of a best western here in Oceanside last night after searching for a place near cannon beach. There were several other rigs in the lot and no one bothered me, didn’t realize til morning it is only steps away from the ocean which is nice. I’m also just hanging out here during the day doing work in my van and no one seems to be bothered.
A little loud with a stop sign right near my chosen parking spot, and car alarms going off and stuff, but that is normal for touristy areas. Would be a bit quieter parking farther from the street.

pulled in after dark, found a quieter corner of the lot. have a car setup that we put together in the Safeway lot, then moved here to be a little more discrete. no one bothered us. lot was busy in the morning.

Pulled in 2am in a not very stealth camper van. Stayed until late morning. No one bothered us, used hotel bathroom inside just fine. Good spot for to sleep but I wouldn’t stayed for a long period of time.

Report Check-InArrived around 9:30-9:45 pm. Parking lot was pretty full but a few spaces in the back. The spots are definitely tight so vans and trucks no rvs. No one bothered me and I left around 6:30 am. Good quite spot for sure.

Report Check-InPulled in at 8:30pm and the lot was full, spots are skinny and tight. not van friendly, let alone a rv. It's loud and the lights are very bright. I doubt they enjoy vanlifers here so I found another spot
Report Check-InNothing fancy just a parking lot but was literally 1 minute walk to the beach in the morning as well as bathrooms and coffee in the lobby. The hotel is pet friendly and had a hose outside to wash the pups down after the beach.
