water spigot in field below parking. Assuming it’s potable as it’s in a picnic area and has a drinking fountain attached. $7 per day Idaho State Park entry fee.
As an aside, There are also picnic tables in the shade here, a great area to paddleboard, and dogs are allowed to swim off leash as well (Only in the discovery unit of the state park). Great place to spend a hot afternoon.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Water IS potable according to Idaho State Parks and Rec site. There are a few spigots, but I only used the one in the lawn near the beach area. I’m not sure if there is one that is more easily accessible…I didn’t look very hard.
