This is BLM campground off Hwy 139, outside Susanville CA. It is 15 min from the town of Susanville. Has 8 sites and some have rock fire rings. It is free. Close to road so some traffic nose.

No facilities other than one broken picnic table. Close to the highway, but traffic is light. And it's free and reasonably flat.
Stayed two nights, not bad.
Decent little rest area. Clean and quiet. Close to the highway with a bit of noise but it’s not busy at night. Slept pretty well in our RTT. Flat ground and easy to set up.
