This is a beautiful spot, but there is now a sign with a picture of a camper van and a trailer that says 'day use only'. I added a picture of the sign.
Others have recently not had an issue here, but the sign looks very new.
I didn't stay, there are great spots the other side of the river in Quebec.
This is the same park as 'Confederation Park', just split by the bridge (you can drive under the bridge). Didn't see a similar sign on the other side.

Another great night here with 3 other RVs. Enjoyed watching the moon rise over the Ottawa River. Woman at park gift shop said townspeople complained so police might ask us to leave in the middle of the night. Woke to the police parked beside us with no concern at all.

boat sleep a the dock so why not the RV too.

We made a stop for lunch. Beautiful place close to Ottawa river. Haven't seen "no overnight" sign but didn't sleep here though.
There is the same place other side of the road.
Très bien pour passer la nuit tranquille et vraiment beau. Toilettes très propres sur place.

As described this place is Nice. Always fun to sleep by the water.When we woke Up two police car were parked Near us. they didnt seem to mind us.

Report Check-InPerfect spot! Some road traffic noise but we had a quiet night. Great sunrise. The Ontario welcome centre is on the other side of the road and connected by road under the bridge. There is one sign about trailer parking forbidden but I think they are referring to boat trailers from the graphic.
Report Check-InA beautiful spot on an island in the middle of the Ottawa River. Features incredible sculpture exhibitions just under the bridge, a coffee shop, washrooms and picnic area. Kayak rentals. No problem staying but very noisy through the night with traffic on the bridge and visitors to the park. we wouldn't stay again.
