DON’T RUIN THIS SPOT! There’s several parking lots down here where people seem to leave their cars overnight while they stay on their boats in the harbor. Amazing spot to walk around, walk dogs, see the sunset over the water. There was a truck camper in the lot when I stayed. My favorite spot in Bellingham! Please be respectful and don’t overuse it!

same experience as previous poster. I drove in around midnight and there was a security guard driving around who noticed me immediately. asked if I had a boat there & if not I would have to leave. He wasn’t rude about it.
Seems like this spot would only work if you’re very stealth & park earlier in the day
Got knocked on by security stating you need permission from the port to park over night. Nice guy who suggested going to nearby pacific pride truck stop.
