Get out of Ihlaras turist trap, and into the agricultural area on the Easter part of the Sivrihisar village. St. Gregorius (the founder of the Orthodox Church) lived here late in his life, after his death this Church was build in his memory.
What a historical place to sleep.
And no litter. Please leave it the same way.

A beautiful spot to camp. Maybe off the tourist trail for Internationals but definitely not off the Turkish tourist trail. Car after car pulled up from when we arrived at 1500 until after dark, of visitors to the church. Including 2 wedding photo shoots! Everyone that passed was happy that we chosen the area to stay the night and very friendly, so for us this was not an issue. A couple of dogs were around, one was very noisy over night. The church was stunning at dusk!
