Description

MODERATOR NOTE: WARNING! Thefts, violence and vandalism reported in this location. Please use caution.

Curb parking on Beach Dr. right by the bay. The space isn’t very wide, but plenty wide enough for a campervan. No parking restrictions that I saw anywhere. There are several spots on the East side of the road where a tall wall/hedge/trees blocks view of the houses, so feels private enough. Cars passing on the road till 11 or 12 pm, but quiets down after.

Came to this spot during a heat wave and had a great night with the cool breeze off the water. Sunset is nice too. Good reception as with pretty much everywhere i’ve been in Seattle. Keep quiet and be respectful so that we can all continue benefiting from spots like this! Thanks

I stayed just a bit south of this pin right near the park on a Saturday night. I'd recommended parking near the pin and not close to the park because people kept stopping by and blasting music for 5-10 mins before accelerating as fast as they could away. Finally quieted down around 2am and was pretty quiet in the morning. I imagine it'd be a lot quieter on a weeknight

Report Check-In

As described, good for one night, but not a lot of space to the sides of your vehicle, the cars drive by pretty close. Got quiet at night and nobody bothered us. Gorgeous sunset!

Report Check-In

Nice quiet spot, some pedestrian activity in the morning but not too bad.

It’s been getting a bit more crowded recently with people staying overnight who are TRASHING the place! Don’t be that person, keep it clean so we can keep staying here. It’s a nice area so I would be be surprised if resident complaints start coming in. There are numerous cans to properly dispose of your trash. Diapers, beer cans, etc. don’t need to be on the sidewalk; looking at you silver Toyota Corolla with a Cali plate!

PLEASE help keep this spot usable!

Report Check-In

Street parking right along the water, plenty of other vans, RVs, and cars. I parked across from the park, so there were no houses on the other side, but the dock along the water seemed to be a hotspot for drinking/smoking/just hanging out on the weekend. Nobody bothered me though, it felt safe! There's a porta-pottie by the park. It was gross, but usable.

loved the location beware the gun toting (so he said but I never saw one) pants-less local.... drove up told us he was going to smoke his drugs and came over to talk with NO PANTS! Probably harmless have stayed here before when in Seattle with no problems we left around 1 am didn't quite feel safe after he announced he had his gun with him!!
