Description

Great little free spot, only a handful of spots. Beautiful little fishing lake. This is a fisherman and hunters paradise and it is very busy during hunting season! We came midweek and lucked out to find a spot since we arrived early in the day. But the other 10 campers that showed up after us turned around since
There were no spots. Lots of bears in the area, it’s extremely important to be prepared and also bear conscious with regards to food.

Spent a night here. Was a very nice campground. It gets very busy with fishermen. Hopefully you don't make the track all the way down there to find out that it's full. I do think you can still find a spot..

Spent 2 nights here. What a gem! A little difficult to find but well worth it. Room for tenters, vans and decent size RVs. Beautiful lake with lots of loons, geese and ducks. Lots of people fishing but I don’t think anyone has caught anything in the two days I’ve been here.

Great spot, access forest road in good condition. Only one travel trailer plus us in a van.

Beautiful spot. Lake is very high so some of the camping area along the lake is under water. Beautiful paddle board around the lake. Road was in decent shape, took a 24 Motorhome down it. A number of diving ducks feeding on the lake and a couple loons cruising around.

Report Check-In

Lovely quiet lake with a string of shaded campsites along the shore. It’s definitely a hotspot for people fishing. The gravel road leading to the site is wider than some have said, but definitely a little bumpy, and the forest “road” leading to some of the further campsites is very bumpy and rather rough on a city car (oops)!

Beautiful free rec site on the lake. Pretty good gravel road in, just a bit narrow. At least 7 lake front spots with a few others in the trees.
