Your GPS might not bring you on the right street to reach the spot. Enter the Sanctuary parking lot and go down towards the river.

Really nice spot on the river. Very popular so you might not be directly on the river.

Very quiet place.

ND of the Cape.
large mostly grass parking area with marked off spots. limited shade.
the washrooms are in the basilica lower level. they tell me they are open 7:30am to 8pm give or take 15mins.
there was a camp host going over there rules. loved that we had solar and not a generator.
Be sure and check out the sanctuary very pretty. Also has some nice gardens to walk through. But with Covid they aren't up to the beauty of a few years ago.

Très belle endroit situé sur le bord de l’eau ,accès aux sentiers du sanctuaire,emplacements sans services ,en entrant un bénévole ou gardien vous remet une enveloppe et propose une donation de 20.00$ pour la fabrique ,arriver tôt pour un emplacement sur le côté de l’eau ,station vidanges ,eau potable, lorsque ont est passé la basilique était fermée à cause de la covid.

Very quiet and nice place to stay near by the St-Laurent river... just a few meters away. The cafetetia offer great breakfast to start off with. Great view, dont forget your camera.

The official campground was full so we stayed on the big flat parking just across the street on the left of the church. Okay for 1 night. There were at least 10 RV when we arrived. Toilets are inside, close at 7PM most of days, open at 9AM. We asked if it was OK to stay there to a couple of locals, everyone said yes.
We asked about the donation as well, they say it’s for the « official campground » - « light a candle in the church » they also said :)
Otherwise, bins and picnic tables everywhere.

Place directly at St. Laurence River managed by the church. Mainly big rigs. Toilets are a little far at the restaurant, no showers.
15 CAD per night.
