Just a bit further down the track is a hollow which offers more wind shelter.

Stopped here on our way to Volcán Isluga to acclimate to the altitude. Ok spot along paved road. Practical for the purpose and nice view over the mountains, but within hearing and viewing distance of all traffic to/from Bolivian border. We were alone, but the space could easily accomodate several verhicles/tents.
Report Check-InWe stopped there for the night. Very quiet because we were further than the main road. Be careful this region is still famous for having lot’s of traffic with the Bolivian border. We felt secure there, super easy access from the road. Great view and amazing sunset
Report Check-InGreat place, lot of space for more than 3 cars, marvellous views, sunrise and sunset. Very quiet, we spent 2 nights for acclimate before going to Bolivia. Good levelled lot.
Report Check-InSpent here a night. Sheltered from the wind and nice views, but a lot of trucks passing till the late night and since an early morning...
