Description
Ranger station, trail head and primitive camping parking lot. Very quiet even on the weekend we saw only few hiker / camper. Porta potty toilet available, working but weak LTE signal, drinking water at the ranger station.

As described, was able to easily park a 20 foot trailer under a nice big tree in the parking lot. Wonderfully quiet location. Met a couple hikers and campers from the trail. There is no Verizon cell service. Plan to stay the night and take a hike in the morning.
Report Check-Inquiet place. drove in at 9pm. google maps said there were police sited but ranger hq was empty. parked in corner, one other van. portapotty still here and clean. woke at dawn an enjoyed a hike on the trail.
