nice site near red rocks which is why it's full on weekends but lots of spots from Sunday through Thursday clean toilets friendly staff 1$ in quarters gets you five minute shower... nice little beach no trees so wide open

Pretty good campground. Bring quarters for the showers. Spacious sites, little (if any) tree cover or shade so be prepared for direct sun.
Report Check-InWe are here 4:30Pm. Visitors center closed. One Ranger came over check us in. But no water no showers.
Report Check-Inarrived after dark after an unsuccessful boondocks spot. Ranger was onsite and told us to pick a spot, check post didn't have reservation, if not take it and pay at visitors center in the morning. so appreciated as we were tired. Got electric hook up for $35.
