Description

Pretty quiet street near the water and a beautiful park. No “no parking” signs. And great Verizon signal.
Starting from the entrance/ext of boulevard park (bay view dr) almost all the way to the end of 10th street is all free overnight parking. (no parking in the actual park, you will get a knock) bay view drive is slanted so i never actually stayed the night there but i saw many others do it. there’s a small section of private/permit parking when you turn on 10th and on the off shoot streets but if you stay on 10th there are plenty of great options. bathrooms nearby and a very pleasant walk. some permanent residents at the end of 10th but very quiet and polite. 2 downsides are there’s minimal shade on hot days and the train is right there, some nights were quiet and some nights the horn was going until midnight, seemed like it depended on the operator added bonus, you can jump off the pier at any tide. people are always doing it (mostly college students) but the water is warm and it’s a super fun way to wake up or end the day

Latest Check-Ins

There are several areas along this street where it looks like vehicles, vans, and even small motorhomes can overnight. The spot marked on the map corresponds to about half a dozen reasonably flat parallel spots next to a small grassy park. These spots are clearly intended as day use spots for the park, so I would arrive late and leave early, but locals don't seem to mind a few small rigs overnighting on occasion. Please keep the area clean and don't camp for more than a night at a time. Strong Verizon signal. Some train noise. Access to trails in the park and out on the boardwalk over the water.

Report Check-In

Stayed a few nights just one night at a time though, but it seems like a great spot

Report Check-In

Scenic overnight street parking with occasional train noise.

Report Check-In

Was here for three nights and two (working) days. People are curious, but friendly. Had my external solar panel on the green. Safe area. Boardwalk is really nice. There are seals in the water and you can also jump in the sea there and swim. Locals are doing this everyday at the southern end of the boardwalk. Can recommend this place.

Report Check-In

Still good. Me and 2 others spent the night here. But the train…

Report Check-In

Great place to stay, the train is disrupting but can deal with it. The walk is lovely in the area. Would def stay again when crossing the border.

Report Check-In

The train is definitely going at night too… 🫣 It’s 1:50am. How fun.

Report Check-In

Amazing spot by the water. Definitely be respectful of the locals and clean up after yourself. Coffee shop in the park, good cell service, and trees to string up hammocks

Report Check-In

a lovely spot near the water with walking paths and a nearby restroom.

limited spots. not good for trailers, big rigs.

several other vans here. locals seem cool with it.

please keep it clean and keep your dog leashed so we can keep this spot!

Report Check-In

Quiet place for the night, if you ignore the late night and early morning trains. Felt safe.

Report Check-In

A couple looks from locals and loud noise from the train until 11-12ish. Aside from that a good stay

Report Check-In

As described, very nice place to stay. A few other vans were parked there. The bathrooms were very clean, but were closed after dark on Saturday night. I stayed two nights and was undisturbed. The train wasn't as loud as previous comments suggest, but there were plenty of people walking by until around 11pm. I would definitely stay again.

Report Check-In

A safe place to park for the night. A few other vans were here. There is also more parking in the area. Trains were quite loud throughout the night. Didn't sleep well.

Awesome place to stay, as a single female I felt very safe. I stayed in front of the spa and the apartments. In the morning walked down the dock to the coffee shop. Sunsets were AMAZING, came back a day later and stayed again. Verizon connection was good. Very dog friendly area

Report Check-In

Stayed here no problem. Further down the street is the obvious camping zone. Man that train is LOUD

Report Check-In

Definitely a good spot, right up the street there seemed to be a lot of vans of all kinds parked as well. Lovely little view and the train was obvious but also kind of romantic.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay. Right by a grassy area and a boardwalk that's perfect for a morning dog walk. The train is kind of loud. The last one was about 11:30pm and the first one about 7:30am, but it didn't really bother me too much.

Report Check-In

Nice free parking on a quiet street. Just a 10 minutes walk to some good restaurants, brewery, ice cream shop. But the train is so so loud, and come multiple times in the middle of the night. Just be prepared

Report Check-In

Nice street parking. A very loud train comes by, but not very many people or cars making noise. Peaceful night, would stay here again.
