Description

Nice, well-lit town plaza. Parked on a stretch of lawn directly opposite the town alcaldia. Talked to some locals who said it was okay to park here for the night (we avoid the word "camp" in these places) and also assured us it was secure here. Quiet except for the odd motorbike and a group of locals talking well into the night. There are absolutely no facilities here so you have to be self-contained. Don't miss the Santuario by the huge red rock towering a few kilometers NW of here.

Beautiful place. We were here only for a walk and did not spend the night here. The rock formations are really beautiful.

We "parked" here for the night and made a nice hike from here to the santuario with beautiful woodcarving. Don't miss it!
