Nice hostel we stayed at. We paid 24 euros for a double room ensuite, simple breakfast included. Hot shower and decent wifi in the room. The owner Coco is a great guy, nice to talk to and very helpful. Its a 10 minute walk to the center, but we found it to be a nice location.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Good budget hostel for a couple of nights. Very friendly owners, Coco and Ana who speak Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
I booked through booking.com, s/63 per night. I don't know what the walk-up rate is.
Space to park a couple motorcycles, though it's narrow and downhill. You might need help backing them out if you have a big bike.
Rooms are basic. Bed, table, chair. Excellent hot water. Good Wifi. Simple hot breakfast included in the morning.
If you're arriving by motorcycle, the place can be a little hard to get to, and the sign is very small. It's the mint green building. It's located on the corner of a busy intersection, and there's not any good places to stop or park. Someone has to come out and open the gate to let you in. It's best to contact them a couple of minutes before arrival so the gate is open when you arrive.
Report Check-InMe and my best fellow was staying 2 day's at el Tuco. The owner Coco is a amazing guy. He gives you a lot of information about the area around you.
The hostel is also really clean, save, you have a kitchen and a social room to hang out. It's not a party hostel but perfect if you want to hang out and see something about Cusco and Machu Picchu/ secret vally.
We also could park our motorcycle in the garage.
I highly recommend this hostel. Thanks Coco!!!
