Was closed when we passed by there today at around 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon. So I guess don’t count on it, and be happy if it’s open :-)

It was still early in the morning but we couldn’t miss this opportunity. Had chocolate and maracuja-mango which was delicious!

good ice cream, I wouldn't call it a gelato, 3 soles one scone and 5 two flavourful, good price!

Wow, this was good! He was trained by an Italian chef. This is pretty legit gelato. They did finally open a booth in the mercado in Caraz, we went there too for another treat! So random and so awesome to find it here.

I vote maracuya but Liam said this is the best peanut ice cream of the trip so far!

it is indeed a very nice ice cream. my favorite is the maracuyá, but my fellow Swedish friends would definitely pick the chocolate. Jhon and the rest of the family are really wonderful!

Indeeed very yummy! Why wouldn’t you stop here? Very welcoming family. Our little one played with their two girls after indulging in a chocolate cone with sprinkles. We all ordered different flavours and then got a free cremalado sundae to share! Such a nice treat!

Yup, very good ice cream. Love his story too, learned it from an Italian guy who did a course for ice cream making in Panama while the owner was working there in a mine.

He said that in 15 days they plan to open a store in Caraz too, so look it up it you pass there.

Indeed a very good place for ice cream! Very kind and interested guy, when we finished our ice cream (which was already a lot), he give us a bowl of a new sorbert taste he had haha

worth a stop, really good selfmade icecream! you can try different ones before you choose. also very friendly / interested people, had a nice chat in the shadow and had my water bottle filled up.
