iOverlander cannot verify if wild camping is permitted at this location. It is your responsibility to verify local laws or obtain consent before staying the night.
The road has access to the beach, there are no signs restricting overnight parking. There are signs that say no camping on the beach though. We parked, along with 5 other vehicles on the pull off across from the public pit toilets. Super convenient to have restrooms right across the way. You can drive right on the beach too, just make sure you have 4-wheel drive because we watched several cars get stuck on the sand and call for help. Absolutely beautiful spot! It’s very busy during the day/early evening but gets quiet after hours. You can fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean. Absolutely lovely!

Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Didn't try to sleep here. There's a new "NO OVERNIGHT PARKING OR CAMPING" sign.
The beach was still a nice way to spend the afternoon, especially since you can drive right to an empty spot (AWD highly recommended).
Also, the bathroom was decent for a public one. The one on the right had a flush toilet and sink.
Report Check-InThere is 1 ‘no overnight parking/camping’ sign and it looks like they are about to add more. I think this place is often used by the homeless, and we observed some confrontation about it. You may want to consider other plans in the future…
Report Check-InNice quiet place to sleep for the night. Nobody bothered us and there were a few rvs there as well, so seemed like a pretty good spot. The bathrooms, however, were nasty. One of them was locked and the other was gross. Otherwise, great spot to hear the waves and see the ocean first thing in the morning!
Report Check-Inbonjour a vous tous😃
endroit tranquille, je me reveille d'une nuit calme et récupératrice.
l'endroit est bien indiqué ou on ne doit pas dormir nuit grosse affiche côté beach.
ICI tout est parfait.

stayed here one weekend night with no issues. minimal traffic at night. could hear the waves crashing.
few other folks. great spot!!
Report Check-InI spent a night here, pit toilet smells bad but the sunset is amazing, so is the morning walk. There were many RVs along the road. Local police did drive pass but did not stop to check anyone. Appreciate the town allowing us to camp free. I also used the Punic table in the park in town, residents were friendly & welcoming.
Report Check-InGreat spot! Close to the beach and the Discovery Trail. Public washrooms across the road. No problems in the night.
Report Check-InGood not great. It is safe but pretty loud during the night. 8 vehicles here last night half locals that live in their cars and half rvs passing through town. The beach was nice to listen to during the night.
Report Check-InForgot to mention, LOTS of mosquitoes. Not the most pleasant for sitting outside your rig, but come prepared or be eaten alive!
