Thank you

Report Check-In

stayed here for one night, but the main thing for us was to be welcomed by two absolutely kind Hondurians. Really also worth to just get a hot chocolate or cafe on your way by.

great place. why? owners are super friendly, food and drinks are good for a really fair price, fresh milk from their cows, lovely fresh breeze, WiFi, leveled and free parking for the night. what do you want more? a nice view is included as well

Great first stay in Honduras, super friendly couple that run the cafe, great view on a nice and level field. we found the road a bit near and noisy from trucks going up the hill, but got quiet at night. good coffee and food here. they are happy for every traveler passing by.

It was a really very very nice host and we can highly recommend it. We couldn’t not speak Spanish well, but with google translate we were able to communicate very well.
The two of them would be very happy if as many tourists as possible came by with campers or tents.
Thanks for everything.

We spent a night camped out in the little meadow beside this restaurant. The owners are very interested in hosting travellers and even invited us for a coffee when we arrived. Nice people!
It’s right on the hiway so there was some vehicle noise until about 9 pm then early again the next morning around 6:30am. It’s a good place to stop before or after crossing the border. No services though, just sleep.

pasamos por aquí una noche antes de cruzar a El Salvador... Super amables, tienen un espacio grande para recibir viajeros... el clima es muy frío alli...

Report Check-In

Closed on Tuesdays with nobody around. We could stay at the neighbor.

The place is called "Cafe Juan 316". ioverlander coordinates might be more accurate than Google maps.
it's a small cafe, but the family who runs it is extremely nice and welcoming of tourists. They were happy to host us in the parking area / meadow right before the cafe, and keen to talk with us through the evening. they don't have much in their menu, but we ordered coffees, a quesadilla and frioles&nachos. They have WiFi and bathrooms.
Pet friendly, but they have their own dogs so you should ask first.
