Seemed too good to be true. Stayed 2 nights without problem. We were joined on our 2nd night by 2 other campers. Port authorities and Police passed many times and they did not even look at the vans.
Free and very close the the old town (5-10 minute walk)
There are no signs prohibiting overnight parking or camping. Maybe it's best to be as discreet as possible here. I'm guessing this parkup won't be available free for long! Lets make it last as long as possible before its banned!

Report Check-InFantastic spot, free and quite! 10min walking from the old Town! Just perfect. Thanks to the owner to give us the chance to stay here. There are free public washrooms at 300mt (cross the bridge and behind the big gray building on your left).
Perfect spot to visit this wonderful city!
The lot owner says it is ok for overnight parking of vans and cars. His is mad at big rigs hanging over and killing the shrubs.
Report Check-InNous avons dormi 1 nuit dans le parking du port dans une tente sur le toit du VUS, site tel que décrit. Restés de 19h à 10h le lendemain sans problème. Magnifique couché de soleil et à 5-10 minutes du Vieux-Québec. Toilettes publiques proches mais fermées la nuit. Vers 10h du matin, un jeune de la sécurité du port nous a averti gentiment de quitter car nous prenions 2 places de parking. Il y a un autre parking mais payant à proximité pour les VR. :)
