Small border crossing in the mountains between Serbia and Montenegro. The border was a bit more formal than I'm used to in Europe. On the Serbian side was the only bribery/ extortion attempt I have ever experienced in Europe. The border guards tried to convince me that I needed a negative marijuana test to cross the border. I could pay a "local" fine or wait for them to call the police...
Nothing that can't be dealt with but it can definitely catch you off guard in an otherwise normal border.
