When coming from North, there is a parking lot on left side at these coordinates 5.84058° S, 79.50618° W. Take the gravel road leading up the mountain. At about 1km up the road you can drive onto a paddock to the right.
Unsure if you get over the road berm with 2WD but a shovel might help - it is loose dirt. Great view all around. Admittedly very close to the dirt road, but as long as I was there, arrived 1400hrs until next morning, hardly anybody was using this road.

This spot blew our minds! No really - strongest winds we have experienced since Patagonia. The entire car and tent were shaking a lot.
It’s not very secluded either - visible from the dirt road and from the truck stop on the main road.
It’s also not level.
But the views are nice.
