Enter Guerrero Negro and turn right at the Auto Zone. Watch for signs saying Baja Magic. Next to the Tecate Six.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We arrived with a 25' RV and a camper van. Very difficult to get wider vehicles inside her gate.
This is just a young ladies driveway located a couple blocks from the main road. She has an outlet you can use/share as well as a water hose available. There is also a bathroom with a shower. A common area inside great for socializing.
Cost was $300 pesos/night.
Gate was supposed to be closed at 10pm. I closed it at midnight and it was then opened several times with the final time being 4am. Quite noisy each time it is dragged open.
Stay at Mario’s just down the street, even if you’re doing the tour from here. This is just a walled-in, tiny parking lot. The wifi was unusable. Felt more like a prison yard than campground.
Report Check-Init's not a campground! only for small motorhomes because the entrance gate is only 2.40 meters wide. only good if you go the next morning for the whal watching tour. the tour we can recommend.
Report Check-InThis place is in wrong location - it is located at 27.97473, -114.01894
Report Check-InThe area is a bit disappointing. There are signs pointing to it. The campground is a parking lot.
Report Check-InPrice is now 300 for dry camping in the yard in the whale off season. nice people.
Report Check-InThis campsite has 2 showers and toilets. The entrance for campers is at the back. You need to go to the reception next to tienda Six to tell them you want to camp there and they will open the back door.
The place is essentially home to Shari, a Canadian who lived in Baja for 34 years and has 25 years of experience in Laguna Ojo de Liebre and is a gray whale behaviourial scientist.
There is a shared kitchen and 2 living rooms for use. There is library and also a pool table. Garden at the back with hammocks and swings for the kiddos. They also have glamping and rooms if you want.
My wife and I wanted to see the gray whales so we booked with Baja Magic/whale magic tours. Shari runs a well run tour company. She has rooms and glamping on her property. At the very north end of town. Sign says Baja Magic on the right as you enter Guerrero Negro. $10/camp, $25/glamping with queen and king beds.
Report Check-InActual gate is here , cute pug

Nice enough spot intended mainly for clients of the Whale Magic tours during the Jan to March Season. We paid $200 per night for access to all the facilities but no service for our camper. The gate is only just large enough to get as C Class through. We did the whales with them, fantastic but pricey.
Report Check-InIt’s a bit difficult to find, but it’s here. The location here is the back, go one more block and take a right to get to the front of the property. Right next to the Tecate Six. It’s a work in progress, but the owners are kind and generous and eager to provide comfort.
Report Check-InHacienda-style camping with hot water showers, great cell signal/4g, free WIFI, a common area with games, books, a dipping pool, garden bbq, TV, and food for all types of diets.
At Baja Magic Hacienda we cater to all travelers, we have a large area that can hold RVs and overlanders easily, and glamping tents available; we also have inside units for those wanting to take a break from the road and sleep in a nice bed, as well as a bunk house hostal style for hitchhikers and cyclists.
A pet-friendly place with large fences, VERY secure.
