This is a great little stop. The lady here Mercedes is super nice. She built a fire on her stove and we watched her make empanadas. They were great! We were here around 10am.
She has a beautiful garden and if you have a burning desire to know why the caged bird sings…..this is the place to find the answer.

Report Check-InSimple two-room hostel on the way down (or up) the pass, on the Ruta 40. Secure parking-lot for motos and maybe a car, too. Paid 1800 for one person. Hot shower, when the power is on. There are empanadas for dinner, and Budweiser. The dog’s called Toby. No wifi, no phone signal. Bring a book…
