Something not right?

Description

This is an abandoned gas station and ruins of a past Indian tribe. There are several spots to boondocks in the back or you can park up under the covered area at the abandoned fuel station. I have stayed here a few times and it’s nice to explore a bit of the ruins. There’s a bit of road noise in a rooftop tent but should be fine in a camper

Several RVs staying here. unfortunately we didn’t find this place until we had already gotten to the Jays gas station which was great. A burned out and graffitid place so if that creeps you out this is not the place for you! But there is a nice level place for many campers to stay. It is raining and the dirt road is just fine.

what an awesome place to stay and explore a night or two. I parked over by the mountain lions and motel ruins. the zoo side. watch for nails check your tires they are all over the place. great place to explore.. spent hours learning the entire history.. crazy story worth reading about. many options on where to park but less glass on the side where the zoo was.

Cool place to park for the night. Other overlander from FreeRoam there. A couple semis overnight. Some tourists pop by. Apache Death Cave and ruins to explore right beside it

WISH we would have stopped here. We tried for Walnut Canyon but it was full, so wound up at the Twin Arrows Casino parking lot. This spot has lots of room, off the hwy, no lights and another parking spot in front of it. No services, but a good one-nighter.
