Chile
small parking lot right at the Costanera, nice views, quite at night, nice playground for kids, no facilities ( facilities at tourist info - toilet 200 pesos, shower 700 pesos), free, Chile Gob wifi a few steps away (at the tourist info)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Overnighted in the angled parking area with no issues. Some horses were hanging out in the area when I arrived. Great views and a clean park. Other cars pulled up to hang out and play music, but stopped around midnight.
Report Check-InLocal calmo, seguro com bela paisagem. Ficamos 3 noites aqui aguardando a balsa para Chaiten.
Report Check-InVery quiet, just parking lot with no facilities but perfect for the night. In the morning we listened to the seagulls. At night the chilean Police passed several times so it was safe. Many other Vans parked.
Report Check-Intranquilo para pasar la noche. simplemente estacione en la misma calle. había 2 o 3 motorhome tambien
Report Check-InIt was a great spot to park up for the night waiting for the ferry the next day on the park (in the angled parking spots), weren't bothered by anyone and was nice and quiet. I feel like we could've parked up anywhere along here and it would've been ok.
Report Check-InWe slept here just before taking the ferry in the morning. Nice view, very quite.
4G Entel and Movistar
Stayed the night. Relatively quiet after a while, but was interrupted by a car parking and blasting loud music for about 45mins. Some cute dogs slept next to our van. Note- visitors centre only open 9-5.30. Managed to use the toilets in the nearby gymnasium at around 8pm, but no other nearby facilities.
Report Check-Inparked here for the evening to make dinner and go for a sleep before the 2am ferry. no interruptions, free parking
Report Check-Intranquilidad en la noche pese a las fechas de alta afluencia. impecable para motorhome al final de la costanera
Report Check-InRV Sprinter Van 7.0. Lugar silencioso e tranquilo para uma noite. Estacionamento pequeno na Costanera. Recomendo
Report Check-InGood to wait for the ferry. Stayed on the gravel patch direction ferry for the night.
Report Check-Ingood spot, no facilities apart of the tourist office. Quiet in off season and during the week. very public
Report Check-InArived very late and stayed for 1 night. Quiet at night. Not very special.
Report Check-InNice spot for a night. The tourist info center said it was not possible to use the shower when we were there. Maybe you will have better luck. We would have been happier parked in the gravel area on the west end of the street as it is away from the playground and other infrastructure that is used late into the night. Enjoy!
Report Check-InNice park/parking lot at the edge of town on the water. Close to the ferry meeting point. We were here on a Saturday night and the park is sort of a hang out spot, so it was a bit noisy throughout the evening & night. But we had no problem camping with our rooftop tent. Very nice people all around. Good spot for one night while you wait for the ferry
Report Check-InVery quiet roadside parking. Beach side pagoda. No facilities-but peaceful.
Report Check-InNice place. Many backpackers who set up their tent here but no noise. You can shower at the information centre for 700 pesos and clean toilets for 200 pesos.
Report Check-Insmall parking lot right at the Costanera, nice views, quite at night, nice playground for kids, no facilities, free, Chile Gob wifi a few steps away (at the tourist info)
