Set between the stunning Lago Paru Paru & a smaller lagoon, beneath dramatic peaks this wildcamp is a winner. The local potato farmers and alpaca & sherp herders are friendly. A worthwhile trail leads along the lakes edge when looking at the lake to the left, past the old rock house. Trout fishing & bird watching- Andean goose, ibis and many other ducks. Super quiet, much colder & windier than Pisac, so prepare accordingly. 3 soles pp entrance

We didn’t spend the night, but visited the lake and walked around it, which was beautiful! Entrance is 3 soles pp and the place is run by lovely local women who sell their artisanales.
Report Check-InThere is new building going on at the spot but still space for a tent.
Sadly ladies arrived shortly after we stopped and demanded money, standing in our personal space as we tried to eat our lunch! Reservoir level is low so beach areas are pretty grimy.
Pretty place, but Peru has much better elsewhere.
Report Check-InDrunken local tried to charge us 100 Soles.
They place is stunning and beautiful, but our experience was not the best.
Stunning place. Beautiful cold lake and rocky mountains around. Inside a small farmers community who speaks almost only Quechua—very friendly. Cold but quiet night.
