Description

Lots of tourists attractions are over rated and over priced. This monestary, however, is a beautiful city within the city, and is well worth its 40s. Come on a sunny day and have time for at least a couple of hours.

40s/p/p entry plus 10s/p/p guide. Yes, its worth the money. Best signposted and professionally maintained site we've seen in whole Latin America. Some info even in German or French.

Worth the price sprawling grounds. Cafe inside had decent juice and cakes and soup but salad wasnt worth it

Visited here twice. Once with guide (20s per person) once without. They have guides in many different languages. I can firmly say the guide was worth it. Added a great history (herstory) to the place. Then we were allowed time to wander back through for photos and contemplation on our own. Beware of closing time, though.

Wonderful photos. Interesting history. Cafe looked nice. Closes at 5 on weekdays. Watch your head, some doorways are low.

Agreed - so beautiful and worth the money. We spent over 3 hours here exploring and taking photos, come during lunch hours when it's much quieter. From 3pm it got busier. Not closed for siesta, open 9 - 5 every day, and until 8pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
