Wider opening with fire pit and 2-3 bars LTE Verizon. Gorgeous spot off dirt road past other listing if you continue past the second gate heading west. Space for a few cars or tents but nothing big. Gravel but flat and quiet except sounds of the forest

plenty of nice spots along the road to camp, but sadly people have trashed these sites and it appears like NF service is trying to block some of the campsites with large rocks. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES and if you have time, please clean up after the terrible people that can’t clean up after themselves. we collected a full trash bag of trash from one site alone. so upsetting. this is how the NF shut’s down dispersed camping. it’s a pretty forest with a smooth road.
Report Check-InI spent a week here and really enjoyed the peace! A police officer stopped by to check on me during the day on both Saturday and Sunday. When he stopped again on Sunday I got a little worried and asked if he was stopping by because it's an unsafe area. He was really kind on both visits and told me it's a good spot and they only have trouble sometimes at the sites on the east end of the road with drug related issues. He didn't expect me to have any problems and I had no issues. I think he was checking me out for possible drug suspicion based on some questions. There's some broken glass, but otherwise it was clean and very pleasant! Solid, fast Verizon service. Can move van within the site for full sun or shade.
Report Check-InCouple spots along the road. Cars come flying by at night. Fire pits. Road is maintained for cars. My Kia forte got in fine.

Report Check-InSeveral pull offs along Cole Road, some with stone fire rings. Peaceful and quiet at this time in March. Lots of knats and trash, but free and peaceful.
Report Check-InWe checked this one out for the night, looked good but someone was there already (he said keep an eye out for ground bees). So drove up the road and found another spot in no time. Saw some good looking spots east along the road when we left in the morning too. Very peaceful!
