Description

Excellent place for big rigs.
stayed here with my 35" 5wheeler. There is still many places to park here over night.
No signs saying there's no parking. very easy access. There's even pit toilets near this enormous parking.

Stayed 2 nights here. Safe and quiet with evening & morning traffic from the ATV business at the end of the road. I didn't see any mice or bears but I heard something around my car on the second night, so be aware. The smell didn't bother me. Would recommend staying here

Stayed here for about a week in late February early March. tons of room, no detectable odor in winter. Got stuck in a few feet of snow, but the lot gets plowed for the snowmobile parking. Plow driver didn't bother me at all and made it easy for me to get out, just park far away from the snowmobile entrance and you'll be fine. Portaloos by the snowmobile entrance. Beautiful views, level ground. Beware of bears

Do not go to this place if you have a sense of smell. I figured the smell was just a random opinion or two…. I can deal with a little stinky but I actually almost puked stepping out of my car. I could smell it in my car a bit driving up and then it was so much worse out of the car. Smelled entirely like humans waste.

first time Boondocking. such a lovely place. not much highway noise, very spacious. three 3 RVs insight and we all parked far away from each other. lots of spaces, why not?

stayed here for 5 nights while visiting whistler, only a couple times did I notice some garbage smell and it wasn't for long. other than that, great place to stay. Quiet, plenty of space even with multiple vans/rigs staying. Saw a black bear one night rummaging around the edge of the parking lot, would definitely recommend keeping your dogs on leash.

Indeed pretty smelly; didn’t stay. Some people might tolerate but me it was too much.

what others are saying - easy access from highway, almost no through traffic, plenty of space, a pit toilet. but some funky smell in the morning from the neighbouring waste centre

Report Check-In

We spent the night here on a Friday night, no smell at all in the morning as mentioned before. The parking lot is huge, we had a C30 so were grateful for that. We were the only one, didn’t see or hear anyone all night. Very faint sound of the hwy if you are sensitive to that. Only thing is, we couldn’t find a spot that was level so we had to sleep at a slight angle.

Decent spot for a night near Whistler. Large open lot as described. Noticed some smell in the morning from the waste transfer station but it wasn't too bad.

The garbage smell is strong, it’s snowing out and you can still smell it strongly. Maybe when it’s further below freezing it wouldn’t be so strong.

Report Check-In

big area to park but definitely smells like garbage even on a cool night.

Road noise isn't horrible

nice quiet spot, lots of places to park, trash smell in the morning but not that bad
