Latest Check-Ins

We stayed at this place without any problem also is close to the Main st. And we go to the Pub just beside for diner. A great safety place to sleep.

Report Check-In

Quiet night parked on street but also received warning letter on windshield (see photos). I would not risk staying more than 1 night and i assume they will start ticketing first timers at some point

Report Check-In

Woke up to a detailed print out of the restrictions on parking in Lake Placid on my windshield, presumably left by the police. I parked my van on Parkside Dr, and there was even another vanlifer parked a few spots away from me. Quiet overnight parking, but woke up to a print out on my windshield and noticed the other van had one of theirs as well. No ticket (unless it is mailed to me) but my assumption is this is a warning and I would be ticketed if they see my van there again.

Report Check-In

Good spot, some flat spaces, good cell service. Very close to restaurants/bars, and Mirror lake trail.

Report Check-In

slept on Parkside Dr a few nights. Every time there were other vanlifers/campers on the street overnight too. Was very quiet and there are streetlights which help with safety. Its a very residential street. Took off my window covers to a few kids getting on the school bus, which made me smile. Definitely recommend.

Report Check-In

Quiet street parking right near mirror lake. From May 1st-October31st, overnight street parking is allowed and free (except for on the Main Street).

Street lights made the space feel comfortable and safe without making it impossible to sleep. Other vans were on the street as well. We did one night, but could have spent a few nights here, with great ease to downtown Lake Placid and trailheads not a far drive away.
