Many places along the road where you can camp/ park the RV. Fire rings with stone. No other facilities. We saw a moose in the forest :-)

Great place to car camp less than 20 mins from RMNP! Many spots on this road, some flat some not. Moderate amount of traffic on a Saturday evening/night. I was able to gather plenty of firewood for my one night stay.

Report Check-InSites along this road are plowed in, and the road ends at the parking lot until summer comes.
Report Check-InThe national forest made some nice areas. Not very flat... In 2020 here was a big fire and you can still see the burned trees. That's why further on, the road is temporarely closed. and it still is 2 years later. but there are more than enough spots.
