Established but rustic campground run by city of Shelby, MT by the Marias River. Some sites have grills and tables and rock fire ring. Flush toilets and spotless bathroom with electric light. Very quiet but a bit spooky with no one else here and razor wire fencing around park and water well buildings. Gravel road downstream good for biking to a swim hole. Can’t hear I15 much even tho it’s close. Found this place on Google maps but directions are wrong close to campground. Stay near river trees.

Stopped here but decided not to stay. Place was muddy and looked like a few old campers were left there by homeless. We went to the Lake Sheloole campground instead.
Report Check-InA nice park with lots of space to camp. No cell service. It's very muddy right now as the snow melts. The bathroom was locked shut.
Report Check-InTechnically the park is closed, but the gate is open. About 6 inches of snow so you need 4 wheel drive. No water or toilets so you have to be self contained at this time of year. Pretty park. Met two locals who help clean up the park and left $5.00 in the fee collection pipe. Probably a very nice place in the summer
