Overall a nice campground. We had a spot right next to the lake. It cost $18/night. Hot showers! Definitely worth the price.
The sites didn't have a lot of privacy but did include electric. Some sites had full hookups. There are a few playgrounds and a boat ramp here.
Report Check-InHighly Recommended.
I’ve been to plenty of campsites and this one is awesome. I’m only here one night but showed up and got a shower in. Bathrooms were a little gross but I mean it’s an $18 camp site so I’m not expecting 5 star hotel. Huddled up for the night as there’s a storm coming through.
I did have to move sites though I originally chose 28 but when I got there it was extremely steep. Wouldn’t recommend that site and the ones around it. Ended up getting moved to 72 and that’s the go to for sure. Bathroom, shower and playground right across the way. Also had a table and a fire pit.
What a beautiful CofE campground! Had a waterfront site and the campground was only about 59% occupied. $18 for site with electricity or half that with a national pass
Report Check-InNice place to rest on road trip. Close enough to highway not a long detour but feels like in nature. Got a spot on the water booked on recreation.gov
Report Check-InNice Corp of Engineer campground on the shore of Lake Rend. Reserved site through recreation.gov, full hook up on our last night after an extended trip. Clean, organized, shady. Dump station available.
