Very nice place to stay! It’s a small house that has a mountain hut feeling. There is a bedroom, a bathroom with hot shower, and pretty big living space with other beds if you are a big group, and a kitchen fully equipped. It’s pretty cold up there in the mountain (3950m of altitude), but there is a gaz heater in the living space and an electrical heater in the bedroom. Ernesto, the host, is a long time experienced mountaineer and will share lots of climbing stories if you are interested. We were very lucky that he went with us on a great hike up to the refuges of the Chimborazo (up to 5100m) starting from his place. It was a 10km hike, 1200m+ that we really enjoyed. He created the trail on Wikilocs for future hikers as well.
Report Check-InThe view of Chimborazo is fascinating, I have never been so close, the payment is 15 dollars per person, you can also camp for 5 dollars per tent.
