Latest Check-Ins

Nice campground with beautiful river access. W/ electric $20 w/o is $10, half off with forest service pass. Decent amount of space between sites. First come first serve only after 9/10. Ranger station is down the road. There is a small store next to the lodge with gas, firewood, propane, ice and a variety of things. The area is incredibly beautiful. Would absolutely stay again.

USFS $20 for electric loop, $14 for non-elect. Mostly by reservation at Rec.gov, a few FCFS sites and self pay kiosk. Easy in/out for all size rigs. Season; May 24 thru Oct 3rd, but water may be off by Sept 21st. *As of today (26th) we still have water. There is NO cell signal!! Our site backs to the river, and it was a FCFS site. Pit toilets are spotless and maintained daily. Sites have the usual amenities, are large enough, with trees and shrubbery for shade and privacy. Lochsa Lodge is a short walk and serves great food and beer daily, and as a dining customer you can use their satellite WiFi. There is a hiking trail right from camp, and a historic ranger station a few minutes walk down the road next to the river. Historic Lewis and Clark centennial trail runs along this corridor. Lots of history here. Great camp and very quiet this time of year. We would come again.

Nice, quiet campground. Pricing is difficult to figure out- really! Some of the double sites are huge, paved. River is pretty. Toilets are closed now but pit toilets open and clean. We ate dinner at the Lodge which was really nice.
